New humbuckers on a MIM Classic Player Jaguar HH

Hello,

I did a bit of research on the forum but haven't found anything significant. I own a MIM Classic Player Jaguar HH. Here is the thing : I would like to replace the stock pickups (Enforcers) with more aggressive ones. Basically I want a sound with a ton of distortion. My questions are : is it really worth it to replace them ? If it is, with what pickups (they need to be splittable and they need to fit) ?

Thank you and sorry for the approximative english, french dure here :)

I'd look into Alnico II Pros, and maybe a Duncan Distortion or a JB in the bridge. Good luck on the tone hunt!

Well, my clean tones aren't important at all since I always use a bit of overdrive when I play ! Don't like playing clean tones on a Jaguar (yeah, I'm not a purist). I can go from a minimum of a crunch to a heavy distortion sound.

Are the Alnico II Pros and the bridge JB fitting my model of Jaguar ? I noticed there are two screws above the rectangular hole where the humbuckers are supposed to be and the SD pickups seem to only have one hole above. I don't know if I am being clear... here is a link with pictures where you can see the two screws above each humbucker : https://shop.fender.com/fr-FR/electric-guitars/jaguar/classic-player-jaguar-special-hh/0141713300.html
