New-ish Mesa rig (not what you expect)

Picked up the head a few weeks ago, the cab a few months ago but have been unpacking from a move across town. Since I don't use many effects, this rig does damn near everything I could possibly want and weighs next to nothing. Pineapple fuzz is a silicon fuzz face style with volume and bias.

I remember those blue angels as having to be loud to give up the goods.

No master?

Only if you want poweramp overdrive, and like Mincer said they sound gorgeous at low to medium volumes too. One of the most beautiful clean tones I ever heard, and that's coming from a guy who owns a NMV Ampeg VT22, a Hiwatt DR103, and has owned a Magnatone Panoramic and a Dr. Z Rt66.

They have the best reverb I ever heard from a Mesa too.

Yeah, the reverb is what sold me. The power amp distortion isn't even my favorite sound, and I will rarely play that loud. The fact it takes pedals so well is why I really like it.

So it is kinda Fender/Marshall mix?

Channel 1 is two different Voxy tones. Channel two has a tweed, High 1 (Marshall) and High 2 (older Mark). I think the Tweed is lackluster compared to my old Road King, kinda wish it was another Top Boost channel. Both top boost and the high gain options sound outstanding with a germanium Tumnus goosing them a bit.

That still sounds super versatile, though.
