New Jensen C12N and Mesa V30 in a 2x12 cab?

Would it sound any good?

It's just that I already have them speakers... And I am entertaining the idea of putting them into a closed back 2x12 cab.

Don't have experience with the new C12N but I have plenty of experience with old ones and a fair amount of experience with V30's.

Fender used C12N's in some of the closed back two 12 Bassman cabs.

It's been a favorite speaker (favorite among a few favorites ) for a long time.

I think the V30 will seem quite a bit louder than the C12N.

isn't the C12N a 50W speaker?
i like them both on their own, but wouldn't expect good results from having the 2 in the 1 cab

Yes, it's a 50W speaker.

Could you elaborate about why you wouldn't expect good result from this combination?

I have used both of the in different combo amps. So do not have much first hand experience about how they sound in the same amp. C12N seems to have a bit V eq you know, scooped and all. But a bit tighter and solid bass and stingy highs. V30, Mesa V30, seems to be less scooped and has more lowermids when compared with the C12N. So both of them are a bit scooped, but the spectrum is not that bad you know. It is just that I am a bit afraid of having too much treble and uppermids.

I am using these because I bought both them for quite a reasonable price.

I used to use an original G12M25 and an original C12N in my Fender Pro Reverb. I liked that a lot!

Indeed, that set was exactly the one I was after. But I could not pass the deal concerning this Mesa v30 from a friend of mine... So the Greenback/C12N set somehow ended up being a V30/C12N set.
