Here are a couple of my latest partscasters - the first and last ones are thanks to Mark Cearlock who put them together.....
#1 is a stripped down Ibanez body with a custom pickguard - 59n next to a couple of Rio Grande pups middle is a Muy Grande single and at the bridge there is a Tallboy HB. This one is a Christmas present to myself!!

#2k is an Ibanez Saber body with a Tele neck - ebony board and locking tuners - this one has a Rio BBQ at the bridge and a Gibson 496n with a rough cast A5 in the neck.
I bought this as is except for the pickups - a real bargain and a joy to play!

#3 is a double cut body I got from the GFS sale - with a Washburn Oscar Schmidt neck - there's a Custom A5 at the bridge and a Gibson 490 UOA5 in the neck - it also has a master volume wired by Mark.

Nice work.
Enjoy!

Here's another partscaster recently put together for me by Mark Cearlock..... This started out as a GFS body and now has an Epi neck with a tele control plate and fine tuning bridge - satin Grover tuners and ali mounting rings. There is a DD112 in the bridge with an A8 in it and a DD blade I bought recently from the forum in the neck.

Re: New Partscasters

What did you have to do (if anything ) to get that neck on #1? Also is it an aftermarket neck?

Re: New Partscasters

It's a mighty mite neck replacement strat neck... Bolted on by Mark Cearlock, who also wired it all up - this one has a Fender TBX tone control - Wilkinson locking tuners - Floyd and Tallboy bridge pup came from Dominus. I just got it from Mark a few days before Christmas.... did I mention it sounds great?

Re: New Partscasters

How did you find dealing with the gfs body? Was it from the factory buyout page?

That was the third body I got from them - and I complained about the condition of it as they didn't send me the one pictured on their site... It seems they had several of that one and I got one off the pile sent - the front was in better condition than than the one shown on the site but the back was pretty scraped up. I had better results with the other two bodies - none of them cost more than $32!
Meanwhile I bought a Tele neck from Craigslist and I'm looking for a body to go with it....

Re: New Partscasters

It's a sleek and smooth guitar that I bought for a song a few months back... its in great condition - hard to find a mark on it! Not sure why someone would put a Tele neck on an Ibanez but it seems to work just fine!
