New Pedal - New Tech - JHS Voice Tech

Sounds like a dated 80's synth. I can't see any applications I could use.

I'd just rather learn the chords on a synth. Or use guitar synth and trigger real samples of voices.

I would rather hire proper, professional singers but I can appreciate the technology and what JHS is trying to accomplish with the pedal. I figured you could as well.

Doesn't mean somebody else can't. I figured a polished musical veteran like yourself would at least appreciate the tech behind it.

As Mincer said, I could easily trigger a patch like this on my guitar synth if needed. We have seen pedals like this before, from the Korg Miku, which voices a little Asian girl, to the Electro-Harmonix B9 Organ Machine, which voices a pipe organ. I see the Electro-Harmonix B9 Organ Machine as a more flexible and usable tool. I do not see this as cutting-edge tech or an option with tones I would ever use. If you can use it, that is great, I just can not get excited over it.

It's not my thing but I can easily respect where JHS is coming from along with the fact that it isn't an everyday pedal. I could see it being a nice option for certain types in certain situations. Not everybody has / needs / wants a guitar synth and this pedal opens up potential doors for those player types and those who are bedroom wankers and social media whores looking for something different. I will stick to my Freq-out pedal as it is awesome!

It doesn't even sound nearly as good as EH's Mel9 pedal which models Mellotron voices. It just isn't very good about what it promises.
