New Pickups for Steinberger

Hello from Kuwait!
How is everyone? I'm currently overseas with the US Army, and not quite in a position to try out too many pickups, so I'll be going off your input here guys.
I'm looking for new pickups for my steinberger (ash bodied, strat shape with trem). Its an H/S/H config. I was thinking med-high output PAF style bridge pickup, like the blues or custom trembuckers, vintage or cool rails middle, and kind of undecided about the neck, although I was leaning towards Jazz, Seth or PG. Wish SD had something like Dimarzio's old Multibucker, with two selectable rails-style pickups in it. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with steinbergers, or have any input? Thanks!

Hang in there. Someone will be along eventually.

Meanwhile, welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service. What unit?

I was at HAAF in 1985-86. 84th Trans. Co.

I just got an Original Trembucker (PATB-1) in my MIM Strat and couldn't be happier! It's a killer pickup for an all-around axe. Not so hot that it sacrifices a good clean tone, but it certainly has some kick. Especially if your guitar is thinner-sounding, this pickup should really thicken it up!
Good luck!

Thanks DD...compared to a PAF, is it a little or a lot hotter? And its pretty thick in the mids then?
