New Pickups Installed! ants and 59's

Finally got my set of ANT's installed in my LP Classic that I got off my friend. These things are just amazing. Through my Fender Twin, getting great Mick Taylor/BluesBreakers tones.
Put a set of 59's in my Michaelkelly Patriot LP, seths were good in it, but since it is a lighter guitar and I was going for more of a Wheels of Fire tone I got a set of 59's put in. AMAZING in that guitar. Those pups were built for that guitar.
Duncan definitely makes some of the best PAFs I've ever heard / played

Baba,

Glad you found your type of sound. What do you mean by amazing though? I have 59s in my LP Classic and like them for sure. I find them versatile. What do you like about your ants?

ants have a more complex midrange and seem to have a more hollow quality to them. They are also smoother. Not that the 59's are harsh, but they are def more punchy than the Ants. Both are great for different styles

Sweet! I really like the 59s and Seth Lovers - and totally agree with you about Duncan quality.

Could you contrast the 59n and the antiquity neck for us?

Re: New Pickups Installed! ants and 59's

59n is a real tight and punchy vintage pickup. I really like it, I dont think its woofy or boomy at all, at least in my guitar. I get great Zeppelin / Cream tones out of it. Thats the main reason I installed the 59 set. Just a few hours ago I was jammin' out "wearin and tearin" by Zeppelin from the CODA album.
The Antiquity is definitely sweet and smooth. I think it has less honk than other paf's and focusses more on an open airy tone.

I can't really comment on how well they handle a lot of gain since I really only play blues and classic rock but I've played them through a Fender Cyber Twin SE, my pops old Supro, and a low cost solid state amp and have had nothing but pleasing results every time. I did notice that the Ant had a lil bit of noise while playing through the fender CT SE at a louder volume but it was hardly anything at all, and was probably mostly coming from my amp.
