dude that thing owns my freakin soul! ive owned a black epi explorer for about a year now, the 58 remake one, and its one of the most comfy axes ive ever played, despite its apperence. And now i have enough for a gibson explorer, and though i love the white, im looking for a korina. AWESOME AXE!

there's nothing like a good pic showing that beautiful piece of wood...
i think my black xplorer with the black pickguard won´t be so apreciated here :smack: (at least until i put the duncans on it...) but at the same time now i want to take serius pics of the axe (man that pics looks pretty well done)
put the pa trem distortion there dude :32: :laugh2:

im hoping that the local guitar store has JB's. they didnt when i wanted one about 2 years ago....haha, they should probably have em by now. ill probably stop by later today
btw warhead, ill get the patb2 if they have it at the store, but i highly doubt it, and im not in the mood to wait to order something online. so im going for convenience here :laugh2: if the JB isnt exactly what i want though, ill 21 day exchange it for the patb2 since it sounds worth giving a try too. its been so hard to not go and get another DD and put it in the explorer, cause its the damn near perfect pickup IMO, but i wanna try something new

well as expected, they didnt have the patb2, but they did have the JB, so i got it. and it sure kicks ass. expect a review in the pickup lounge sometime soon (i installed it kinda late tonight, so i gotta give it the crank test tomorrow during the day before i make a formal writeup)

Before I divorced my explorer and had the affair with Jackson guitars, I played an Epi korina explorer with a Sh-6 in the bridge. I loved it, and was planning to get that exact guitar that you have one day when I had the money............But, along came the love(s) of the my life, JACKSON's!
