It is nice grain, which will only show when up close. You'll see what I mean when I post the next step for the body.
What I need to do is figure out where I'm applying the finish (probably my parents' garage since I'm living with the in-laws right now and they don't have the space) and whether I should just hang it or work on some sort of mounting apparatus.

Yes, the black and white paint will be applied thinly. No filler. No clear coat. No red, either.

My newest white guitar is like that in that it looks white from a distance but up close you can see the grain, can't feel it though. Sounds like it will look awesome! (I love white and black guitars as two of my 4 electrics are this combo)

It looks routed to be a VH Frankenstein to me. The odd hum route for the bridge is very recognizable.

...or the 3-pickup state with the Telecaster in the middle (since you've got the odd route for it)

Cool. I've wanted to get the B/W striped series and route for a neck pickup and make it an HS; or find some other way to get there. Won't be in budget for a while though. Life is in the way.
