New PRS Archon Classic and updated MT15 amps

I know a lot of players like the lower gain option. I'm happy with my Archon 50 the way it is though. I like lots of gain :bigthumb:

I want to play through one of the Archon Classics. I love PRS Amps now that Doug Sewell is designing their stuff. Own a first gen Archon US built head, a US built Custom 50 head and a Sonzera 20 combo now. Owned an MT 15 for a while and that is why I bought the first gen Archon.
Am very curious as to how the Archon Classic is voiced. My first gen US Archon is one of the best sounding amps I have ever played trough. A brighter, more open, slightly lower gain version of the Archon with the master on the clean side and ability to get some good mid-gain crunch tones is potentially very appealing to me. I want to spend some time with one though to see if it really offers me anything I don't already have with my US Archon and Custom 50 heads.

The demos of the new Archon classic are catching my ear. I love my first gen Archon, it' gives me the fat, smooth modern high gain tones I have always heard in my head and never quite been able to get. However, there are times I want and need a more classic feel and tone the Classic 50 cleans are spectacular, but the gain side is a little dark and modern to fit that need. More like a Boogie that a Marshall type tone.
