Hey all,
So PRS started using the larger bobbins on the PS series and now I'm seeing them on CUs but with the (nicer to me) square rings instead of the rounded ones like on the sigs.
It makes sense to have the larger, more square bobbins. They fill the ring and dont leave gaps for "stuff" to get into. I'm sure there are more and better reasons but...it took from '57 to '12 to start making filled-out bobbins?.
I'm still trying to get used to the looks of them but they make sense. Do you think that all or most pup manufacturers will follow suit?
