New red SX Strat came today!

It's a cool guitar. Such a nice finish on everything and comfortable neck. Feels like a medium-slim neck. No bad frets anywhere. I only have one problem. I was setting it up and the back trem spring screw was too difficult to unscrew. I guess the dudes at the factory decided to screw it in real tight. I think I'll just get it setup by my guitar teacher. He has all the right tools.

I'll give some more reviews on it's tone and playability as soon as it's in good working order. Stay tuned!

Ok, guys. I just got back from guitar lessons where my guitar teacher let me use some of his tools to set up the SX. It's such a beautiful, deep, blood-red color. I got a lot of compliments :smoker:

Tone:
Can't say too much about this. The pickups really suck. Very bland. But that should be taken care of when I install the DiMarzio Fast Track 2 that I won from ebay. You can hear the alder shine through the bad pups though, and it's a sweet tonewood. This is quality stuff here!

Playability:
Comfortable neck. It's medium-slim feel goes good for shredding and and classic solo work. It's really easy to bend on too, don't really know why, but you can get some wild bends on this thing. Overall, it's an easy player and total steal for the $99 price tag.

Yeah, I got it from Rondo. They have some GREAT guitars. My little brother has that Agile PRS copy with quilted maple top. Very cool guitar.
