I have to disagree here. For the most part, these appeal to an entirely different market than most Gibson offerings.

Guys that are after a vintage tone would probably not buy it,but metalheads that like singlecut guitars surely would.

i like the tempest better, and as far as that shape goes i like the michael kelly better.

I got that too.
To me it looked WAY too much like a Michael Kelly Patriot.
After Michael Kelly decided to go against Schecter toe-to-toe with their Hex and Vex series it appears Schecter decided to answer with this.
It'd be interesting to see where this'll go to

I can think of no less than a dozen guitars that could be kinda cool (or at least tolerable), if only a shellfish hadn't barfed its home all over them.

None of those guitars are doing it for me. I like Schecter, but I agree with the others. Sometimes the goofy binding and what not really make them look cheap.

I find all those pretty fugly. The V is decent but I'm no V fan.
I hate the melty look of that LP. Offset designs are meh. Just like the ESP's melted SG: the Viper.
The more i look at it the more it looks to swollen to me also.

The gloves are on!! haha
I prefer the Kellys. PLUS, Schecter uses EMG on everything. MK uses passives on many of thier models and they are using rockfields which are pretty good. I dont care much for the EMGS.
