Re: New Schecter 2009 Hellraiser Solo 6!
I'm liking the Omen extremes. The 8 string though....that's just ridiculous. lol

That makes two of us Bro!!!:beerchug:The gloves are on!! haha
I prefer the Kellys. PLUS, Schecter uses EMG on everything. MK uses passives on many of thier models and they are using rockfields which are pretty good. I dont care much for the EMGS.
The "swollen cutaway" while might disturb some aesthetically obviously has an extremely important reason to be there.
a) It allows, without affecting neither tone nor structural stability, for a deeper lower cutaway which in turn allows for a better upper fret access and
b) It protects its' maker from any Gibson lawsuits![]()
That's fine man, it's an acquired taste.True, but it also has a side effect of keeping me from buying the guitar :laugh2:. It's just not my aesthetic bag, personally.
if only a shellfish hadn't barfed its home all over them.

Me myself don't feel too hot about the Schecter but I DO love the Michael Kelly (well, maybe not the EMG equipped one but certainly the Limited and Custom ones, not to mention the smooth Black and Shadow...)
Yeah, I can bearly handle 6.
Indeed.
I can think of no less than a dozen guitars that could be kinda cool (or at least tolerable), if only a shellfish hadn't barfed its home all over them.
