New Signature Guitars for 2015-2016?

[Diminished Triad]

Anyone familiar with new releases of signature guitars by any of the many guitar manufacturers? There were many before but now seems to be a real slow down. I've seen some artist releases by Fender, a lower level than signature, but no new signature guitars.

Thanks for any leads you guys can pass on.

Same basic guitar, but in a newer, cooler (IMHO) finish.

I think Signature guitars gets people interested in the rest of the line, and provide a constant source of income if they are for a popular artist. I just think so many are being made that they all compete for attention, so the 'production model with a new paint job' signature models don't get as much press. You have to do something really different to get any attention at all. Companies take big chances that the artist will remain popular while they are being developed, and the gamble will pay off.

The most recent sig guitar to really grab my attention is the Charvel Guthrie Govan. I could see myself playing that, although I couldn't see myself paying $3,500 for the privilege....

He's got the Nosferatu one out now. It also has only a bridge pickup and a bolt on neck
