New Stuff Rocks!!!

Soooo...i sold off quite a few pedals right before vacation for some extra cashola. Now i have to replace them...:naughty: So i'm hitting up Tryapedal.net and ZZounds. These 3 came in the mail today...gotta do some rearranging on the pedal board, but these are the initial feelings.


Mr Black Eterna Reverb - HUGE sound!!! Incredible shimmer that can go completely ethereal or can be scaled back to just add space.








Mr Black Double Chorus - Pure Lush that retains it's musicality. The modulations have some really sweet nuances. Can also be dialed in to just add some thickness to chords.







RawkWorks Light OD - Supposed to be Very Klon-like. It's light and can add some extra oomph to your signal or get things a little dirty when you dig in.







The next two are in the mail...I'll take a pedalboard shot next week when i get everything in order.

Tried them out this morning live...

SOUNDED AMAZING!!!

That Eterna and Double Chorus just added so much depth, sparkle, & shimmer to my sound...WOW! The RawkWorks i had dialed in as a boost, worked flawlessly!

Can't wait to put that Delay in the mix and have that Euphoria ready for some smooth leads!

I need another boost pedal like I need another hole in my head, but the Rawkworks looks and sounds too good to let slip by. I emailed the dude to see if he would but a Night OD into a Light OD enclosure.

Great choices! Now, don't sell them! LOL

The Rawkworks Light OD does surprisingly sound like a Klon. It's got that tube like body to the tone that eludes a lot of other OD's.

haha...i'm so rich i'm having to make payments on them :deal:

i know there's always a "honeymoon" phase on new gear, but i seriously love my tone/sound better already than the pedals these replaced!

Pedals have always made me chuckle. Seems like they would be prime fodder for a PR/Advertising firm.
Two identical pedals.
One in a plain/natural aluminum box.
The second pedal in a fancy (different size) ...lots of color and graphics enclosure with cool looking knobs.
The opposite of a blind test. Make sure the players see what unit they plug into... and then tell which pedal they like "better".

I hate to tell you that it sounds even better in person than the videos...but...it does!
