Hello!
I'm new to this form..got a link from the Harmony Central forum. Anway, I wanted to share a quick story. In 1978 I had an old Telecaster that developed a microphonic feedback in the bridge p/u. At the time I knew little about guitar electronics, so I wrote a letter to Seymour asking what was up. He not only responded himself (I still have the hand signed letter), but I sent him the p/u, and they potted the coil for a very nominal charge. :cool3:
Thanks for letting me share.
Peace!

Very cool!!

Mr. Duncan has always come off as a 100% class-act guy, and stories like these are the reasons why he's still the best!

Welcome aboard, Bobby. And thanks again to Mr. Duncan!

Re: New to the forum

Regretfully the Tele (1968 model) was stolen about 10 years ago. It crushed me as it was my first "real" electric. Irreplaceable! At least when I look at my gear budget..not to mention the sentimental reasons. I appreciate everyone's hospitality. If anyone in the Kingwood/N.Houston area would like to jam..holler at me. I'm not currently gigging, or even in a band..just piddlin' in my home studio(meager setup). Got a 98 AMSTD Strat, 70's L6S, MIM Tele Thinline..59 Bassman reissue...LOVE THEM BLUES!! Kinda "old school" ya know
Peace!!

As I submitted this post I realized that this was probably the wrong forum to solicit jam buddies...sorry rookie mistake!
