New Track - "Go Away From Here" - 11 min epic!

Re: New Track - "Go Away From Here" - 11 min epic!

The good here is that it's a catchy, dance-able song and I think the recording is pretty good. The bad is that even though you have some breaks and instrumental sound changes, the song gets tedious after awhile. Eleven minutes is a long time to be listening to the same beat, rhythm etc even with breaks. Then again, I'm from the era of Yes, Rush, early Genesis where an eleven minute song was very progressive and had completely different chord structures every minute and a half :fingersx:. Overall, I like it, but I think I would like a condensed version better. Keep it up man, you're handy with the synths, that's for sure. I wish I could do the things you do.

thanks for listening! yea i can see where youre coming from about repetitive character of it, especially if you listen to those bands. but dance and electronic relies alot on patterns/buildups, so thats where im coming from with this. i am going to slice the entire backend of the song off to make a 'single' take of the song, ending it where the kick drum drops out before the buildup. so much more reasonable length for it

I like it, although I would make the build up shorter, and put the bass a bit down on your bassdrum. Too dominant for my ears.
I like the concept and the singing! Cool thing!

thanks for listening. Im still working on the other sonic mix a bit, so ill keep the bass drum thing in mind!
