Don't drive yourself crazy thinking about the mix, bro. Does the song get its' point across? Can you hear the vocals clearly? Good balance on instruments? (BTW, "yes" to all.)

Trust a guy who's spent many a late night/early AM doing yet another mix, and getting his hair pulled out every time he took off the headphones after tracking a part. After a point, you just want to say "eff it" and quit. Don't ever let your own music burn you out like that; keep your passion alive.

The vocal's fine. Go write another song.

I don't mean that in a bad way. It reminds me of the cooler 80's stuff that I would only catch on MTV in the little Northern California town I went to high school in, stuff that I'd never hear on the radio.

Oh! I see now. That is clearly 80's with the synth playing and power guitars.

I use to be a House and Trance producer so my synth programming is more in line with what you would hear in that style of music and I have a classical background so I think the piano tends to lean towards that. I can see how people think 80's but I really think what I'm doing is taking things from dance music, bands like U2 and Depeche Mode plus a little classical influence and smashing them together. I hope it sounds a little more fresh than the 80's stuff?

It definitely sounds like new music; it doesn't sound like new wave rehashed at all.

My keyboard was broken (well my marte jsut pour coke on it)....So i am a bit late to the party!
The song is really great ,the atmosphere is just amauing.Very modern ,very ripe....
The mix is amazing too..I clearly hear all instruments ,and vocals are present as they have to be!....
