New Zakk Wylde Pedal!!!!!

Has anyone checked this out yet?

I wonder if there's any difference between this version vs the reg Phase 90. The difference between the EVH Phase 90 vs Reg Phase 90 was slight.

I love the Zakk Wylde OD and Black Label CHorus pedal. They flat out rock. The Wah is cool - very throaty, middy. However, there's not too much difference between that and a reg crybaby. Wonder if Zakk is just starting to throw his name on anything. New paint job, signature, same pedal = price increase?

me and jolly were talking about this - like how many ways can you personalize a phaser, lol. after hearing his zw chorus over the phone i want one now, it was a cool subtle effect!

The chorus is very versatile, no doubt about that. I'm just wondering what makes this Phaser differ from the Phase 90? Same one button format....

Everytime you pick a note, it creates a phased pinch harmonic

hahaha. theres prob like a million zakkheadz out there, complete with the flannel vest over a leather jacket. and the group leather vest that everyone gets upon joining the band, you know the one.

From what I've heard from his signature pedals it's that they're voiced to work best with a LP into a cranked JCM 800. The difference is that he wants no mids added, and the mix level to be perfect for a LP/JCM 800 crunch tone.

I was wondering the same thing as his classic gear line up never had a phaser. It was rotovibe-wah-od-chorus. However, looking at more recent gear it looks like he has been using the EVH phaser. Seeing that he has been using a phaser I don't think he is throwing his name on everything... yet.

he has the evh phaser on his board for the Guitar World dvd, i'll have to take a look at that again to see how he was using it..Mark Tremonti was also using the evh phaser and now he's got the T Rex Tremonti Phaser
