newbie installing stc-3p preamp

Hi
I've recently bought a stc-3p preamp to install in my ibanez rd600 bass, with one s.duncan bassline jazz pickup, and s.duncan one bassline mm pickup. The wiring diagram says to connect the hot output from both pickups to the blend pot. But what do i do with the rest of the wires ? The mm pickup has 5 wires ? I suspect i will have to solder some of them together to make the hot output, but wich ones ?
All help is highly appreciated.
Best regards.

Standard/basic EBMM Stingray wiring has the coils linked in parallel. Bare, green and white all go to ground. Red and black are joined together and connected to the balance pot.

If you are feeling more ambitious, there are other ways to interconnect all of the coils on your bass. This would involve some sort of mode selector switch.

Thanks for a quick reply, just to clarify for a novise in this game. That means that red and black goes to the blend pot, and the rest is soldered to one of the other pots ?
