Newbie question on wiring Jb pickup

HELP! Trying to wire a Jb pickup to a 250k push/pull for coil splitting. It's going into an experimental Ibanez strat style guitar with no other pickups, no 5 position selector switch - just tone and volume control.

As a newbie, the wiring diagrams aren't clear on which wires go where - and the 6 dot grid in the Seymour Duncan diagram isn't clear on which end is up or down when looking at the push/pull pot.

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

If I understand your question, you simply want this. Red & white wires to the center, and the terminal above it goes to ground.

Wire it as Artie shows. This will give you the split when the knob is pulled up (normal series when the knob is down).

then if you want it up is full humbucker and down is split

Just move the ground wire to the lower one

You probably will not even use the JB split

It sounds great as a humbucker
