Newer Traynor combos

What do you guys think about the newer Traynors...like the YCV20 model (15 w) and up? I know all about the Bassmasters and all that, but no one I know seems to have tried the combos.

I like the newer Taynor amps! I want the little Red covered one with a Greenback speaker..... also i'd like the Blue higher gain one too.. They are good loud tube combos... not metal amps or anything but they are good for what they do....

I've played through a bunch of them. And never played one that didn't sound fantastic. A guy had one in the studio a few weeks ago with a hollowbody PRS. Sounded SWEET.

The latest Guitar Player (McCartney on the cover) has a review of several "club amps"; 30- to 50-watt combos, including the blue Traynor. I haven't read the whole thing yet, but they liked it.

I get to use the red covered traynor combo with the greenback speaker in a jazz workshop i am in. It has a way sweet clean tone to it that really shines for jazz playing. It can get a nice fat OD too, but i never really get to use that. Its plenty loud, i never take it past 3 on the volume knob. its a great amp, thats all i have to say about that.

Are these new Traynors made in Canada? I have not heard... I know it's a Canadian company but i wonder if they make them here in Canada... I'd love to pick up one of these Traynors.... If i use my Godin with it i'd have a Canadian combo.... I've been debating of selling my Peavey Classic 30 and buying a Traynor.... I'd still own a Classic 50....

I think there is a tie to Yorkville or something. I see Yorkville in the decription of some of the Traynors, they are the solid state ones though. Let me know if you want to sell that C30. I'm in the market for something 15-30w.

I'll let ya know.... I may keep it but i have been debating unloading some gear for some other stuff..... I may never do it but i think about it.

Ya Yorkville sound, L&M Music Stores accross Canada, and Traynor are all one big company... Yorkville makes bass and keyboard amps and pa stuff among other stuff.... Yorkville is also the Canadian Gibson warehouser...

I was just wondering if Traynor amps were made here or offshore.... Most likily here....

Made in Canada at a fairlly new facility in Pickering on Altona Road just east of Toronto. Yorkville Sound like someone has said. Created by a bass player Peter Traynor and Whats-his-name Long of Long & McQuade, the largest music store chain in Canada like the guy said. Nothing off shore, except the tubes (Russian mostly)

I grew up east of Pickering. I'm only a 15 drive from the factory - I should drive by it one day.

i'm EXTREMELY interested in these as well, problem is i can't find a place around here that ever has one in to try out....!!!! Brisk and Theodie have one?!
