Imagine this:

You are your fiancé are working on wedding stuff, you're getting married in the country at your friends house with hundreds of acres. While visiting the town you stop in to a local music store, with no expectations, and play a really well worn vintage Gibson ES330 through a 62 fender vibrolux. Because you're getting married soon (and paying for it) you quickly disregard the GAS and move forward.

Fast forward three years

You're in the same small town for work one day and think to stop by and play some guitars on your lunch break. You play similar guitars through similar amps. You strike up a conversation with the shop owner about gear, and inevitably start talking about that time three years ago. The shop owner remembers you, and tells you how that same guitar never sold and is for sale at his other store location a few miles down the road. You drive there after work to play it and it's as great as you remembered it.

Fast forward three months and that guitar is now sitting in your living room.

I am unbelievably grateful to own such a quality made instrument, and was able to get it at a very fair price as well.

Awesome! Enjoy the **** outta that thing, and never let it go! My '68 is irreplaceable to me. I shopped off and on for years, trying all years, colors, styles, etc. I finally settled on this faded burgundy metallic sweetie, and I couldn't be happier. Best guitar ever!

Yeah, thankfully it's still a great guitar at home. I fell in love with the last guitar I purchased and brought it home to discover that the real magic was in the combination of the guitar and a 68 Princeton Reisuue I demo'd it through.

Congratulations on the great score!
