NGD - 1979 Guild 12 String Acoustic

Re: NGD - 1979 Guild 12 String Acoustic

I used to have the exact same guitar! I loved that thing more than life itself until some D-bag stole it from a charity benefit concert/party we played when I was about 18. Beautiful sounding instrument & I really lucked out with mine because the former owner didn't leave tension on the neck when he put it away. So after a truss adjustment it was basically as easy to play as any other 12 string from that era? They can be tough on your hands @ first but the sound that comes out of them is well worth it! I found I needed to play the guitar a lot to get used to it and be able to play it well but when I picked up another guitar, even if it had high action, it just felt like butter!

So sorry to hear that it was stolen! I bought this one from Guitar Center–hopefully it is not your old one!

But yeah, 12 strings are harder to play and make other guitars feel like a shred stick. lol +1 To the beautiful sounding instrument statement...I have never heard a better sounding 12 string!
