NGD! 2015 PRS in the house!

Picked up a brand spankin' new 2015 SC245, 58/15 pickups, 2 piece bridge Pattern neck, Rosewood headstock veneer, really nice piece of rosewood for the fretboard. Not sure the color, but its a kind of faded blue - grey color.
I went in with the intention of walking out with a 30th anniversary custom 24, but ended up with this instead.

Its a totally different beast than the Wolfgang, so its going to take some getting used to.

I think the color is called "grey black" ....Im not super crazy about it, but Its definitely not a deal breaker for me by any means

Oh man. One of my dream axes there. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Enjoy and play the crap out of it!

Forgot to mention I tried the SE version of that guitar a week ago and man it's sweet! Can't imagine how good that one is.

Hard to tell from the pic, but they also have a faded whale blue finish in recent years.

Im so used to the reversed pickup switch on the wolfgang, I keep hitting the switch on this the wrong way haha
But I will say this though.....This is probably the best guitar I've ever seen or played in terms of quality. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. And I've owned everything from Custom shop Gibsons, to Custom shop Jacksons and everything in between. 10/10 for quality....bravo PRS

Whale Blue has a greyish tinge to it already. The faded version looks more-so.

I thought, and I could be wrong...grey black is black towards the edges and charcoal near the center...almost burst-like.

You can pull the bridge pup/ring out and check the modcat, and google prs modcat decoder...you can find out for sure that way. Edit- it seems the modcat is also on the sticker on the outside of the case.
