Back in Jan i was in afghanistan and got kinda worked up looking at my bank account and said... "do you know what i NEED... a 7 String." then later this year SD decided to come out with some new awesome 7 string pickups by chance so i got those.

anyway terrible pictures but my parents sent me them so i cant complain. (i had it shipped back home instead of where im stationed)

gonna throw a sentient in the neck and a pegasus in the bridge with a 5 way switch
1: Neck series
2: Neck parallel
3: Both full humbuckers together
4: Inner coils in parallel
5: Bridge series

Hopefully in the next month... or two... I don't go home often and having it shipped here will be a pain. I'll most likely wire it up back home during Christmas then fly with it back to base since my main rig is here. In the meantime I could actually work on my tele-bird project but its a pain to do here since I live in the barracks.

kac: will do, after i switch the controls around a bit, im thinking of putting a 6 way toggle in the vol control spot, put the bridge tone where the switch is and shifting the vol and neck tone back one. and installing the duncans of course.
bloodrose: i picked that body shape cuz i dont really like standard shapes, im a fan of firebirds jaguars and stuff you dont see everyone with, halo was offering 500 bucks off the custom shop so it only ran me 1100 even with the wenge neck. on top of that i really like bass shapes, they just look way more balanced to me. my next bass will be a wishbass hipper bass that i will have to modify a bunch but i like working on projects so theres that.

regardless thanks for the complements and i will make sure to take some good pictures with appropriate lighting. i really wanna see what the figure looks like on the top.
