NGD..7 String Content

So years ago (late 90s) I had a 7 string. Then I moved on to other things. Recently I had been toying with the idea of getting another one. I went to Guitar Center with a budget of about $1k. Played the Ibanez RG Iron Label and the S Iron Label. Both were nice guitars, but really didn't do anything for me. Then I noticed a Sterling JP70 hanging on the wall. Plugged it in, and was hooked. The neck was much more comfortable in my hands and the trem stayed dead nuts in tune with heavy use. Sold! I'll try to take some better pictures once we get a nice day outside. I am extremely happy with this guitar. Plays great, feels great and the stock pickups aren't half bad.

Re: NGD..7 String Content

Very cool! congrats! I played a few OLPs back in the day that were pretty bangin for the price. The sterlings are really nice! I just dont jive with the small frets most of them have. I Like big frets and I cannot lie, you other players cant deny......

Congrats on your new 7 string!
That beast looks awesome!
What p/u's does it come with?

Re: NGD..7 String Content

25.5 scale. Basswood body. Maple neck with rosewood board. The factory pickups aren't bad at all. I may eventually replace them, but I'm in no hurry to do so.

Congrats! The very same one is hanging on the wall at the GC here in MI. Maybe I'll pull it off the wall next time I'm in and give it a go.
