I have had a good run on great deals lately (and selling my 68 Les Paul Custom was a help) and have added to the set.
I just got it home so I cant give much of a review yet but this guitar is a thing of beauty. It is a Jeff Tweedy SG.
Finish is Blue Mist and is amazing, you can see grain through the clear coat which is very cool. There are no finish
issues on this guitar at all, first time I have found a Gibson I can say that about. The neck is finished in a thin satin
and is not stained, which looks and feels sharp.
It is basically a duplicate of an early 60's SG according to what I've read. It is a moderately bright guitar, the Burstucker 1 pickups
are bright so this instrument has a nearly tele type vibe to it but still sounds like a humbucker guitar. Very unique sounding for an SG.
