NGD again

I have had a good run on great deals lately (and selling my 68 Les Paul Custom was a help) and have added to the set.

I just got it home so I cant give much of a review yet but this guitar is a thing of beauty. It is a Jeff Tweedy SG.
Finish is Blue Mist and is amazing, you can see grain through the clear coat which is very cool. There are no finish
issues on this guitar at all, first time I have found a Gibson I can say that about. The neck is finished in a thin satin
and is not stained, which looks and feels sharp.

It is basically a duplicate of an early 60's SG according to what I've read. It is a moderately bright guitar, the Burstucker 1 pickups
are bright so this instrument has a nearly tele type vibe to it but still sounds like a humbucker guitar. Very unique sounding for an SG.

**** me running

That is insane.

The natural neck... the small guard. oh man. What an absolutely beautiful guitar. One of the best I've seen. Honestly.

Re: NGD again

Here is Greg from Greg's Guitars playing one, that nice 'chirp' sound is a characteristic of this guitar and a reason why I will never
change a thing.

****edit****

The bridge pickup was too bright and brash when playing live and will be replaced with a Seth Lover

Good god that's beautiful.

Initially seeing the cream plastics, I didn't think I'd like it, but for some reason, it totally makes that guitar.

Re: NGD again

That is a real stunner, what a fantastic looking guitar! I think my old and tatty Gordon Smith may get a make over because of that one!

God though..I perfectly Loathe this guy and his aweful aweful ridiculous noodling overdubs from prerecorded tracks. The Bear just adds insult to injury. HURL!:flush:
