got a 1988 USA Jackson custom shop strat

Its a strat body with a deeper cut made into the lower cutaway
Not sure of the body wood alder or poplar
jackson branded shaller floyd rose (made in germany)
Mystery pickups, ill have a look when I change the strings
Reverse head stock
Brazilian rosewood fretboard
Super smooth maple neck
Ghost flames
Made in Ontario, CA

My 80's superstrat GAS has already been giving me grief, this isn't helping! :)

The guy I got it from bought it from Grover Jackson in the early 90's and he said on the bottom of the guitar, Grover drilled 2 holes and filled them will lead. Apparently he was experimenting on weight and resonance. The guitar weighs about 9 or 10 pounds, but its very loud acoustically

Im pretty sure the bridge is ceramic because its super hot and compressed. It over powers the single coil in the neck by A LOT. HUGE volume difference

Very sweet axe. The Schaller Floyds are actually great trems - if it stays in tune and the knife-edges are good, I'd keep it in service.
