Thx! The controls are super easy to deal with except I need to rewire the pots for a righty taper not lefty.
I've tried that with other guitars/pickups but I never really use the added frills. Too many tricks for me.
Supposed to be pretty good stuff, I grabbed it for him because of the name
. He's a very close friend of mine so he generally goes along with whatever cockamamie idea I come up with. Some are pretty good though!

I really do like the guitar but it as some weak spots. If you can score one for $300 or so and don't mind putting a few bucks into I think you'll dig it. The tuners are pretty weak, while they're holding tune they are not quality tuners by any means. A good setup will definitely be in order, that may mean fixing some high/low frets so you might be looking at the high end of a set up. You know you're not really finding any non-reverse copies out there so it's probably worth it but be aware is all.
I do wish they made one in a Cardinal Red

OK so I really love this stupid guitar, came across an Ant Mini so that made it into the neck, ridiculously good pickup btw.
Routed and re-wired between last night and this evening, much more user friendly with 2 vol/1 tone 500k pots, .047 cap. Still want to upgrade the tuners but they work, just a little cranky.
The flash was a bit too much on the bridge hence the filtered pic.

How is the output??
I've got a standard Gibson P-90 in the bridge that I don't really want to change sine it sounds killer!

Vintage output, really is a great pickup.
Numero uno? I am not sure I guess so. It's humbucking but raunchy so I really love the sound it gets, pushes the Orange nicely. I put an old L-500 in my LP and that really sounds killer now, plays better also but not as funky.
