I owed Buddy a few beers so I took a 6-pack to his shop. while there, he had several of his new line there.
first I started plinking on this one:
really cool. in fact, very cool..I like the color and the config and how it plays. but you know me, I ask if there's one with a reverse neck.
he comes out with the only one of this line he had available with a reverse neck..... this:
trans black
1-piece poplar body
1 hum
1 vol
maple neck
rosewood board w/ very nice inlays
Floyd
started playing it and didn't want to put it down. knew I had to buy it and Buddy gave it a quick setup before it left the shop. this one is from the newer line he's doing that has the recessed trem.
more pics:
signing the cavity plate:
trying to show off the tran-black finish:
plastic still on the truss cover:
another attempt to show off the trans-black finish:
truly plays like a champ. if you've thought about getting a Blaze, it'd hard to go wrong with this line.
