Sound report?

Drop a Seymourizer in the bridge and rock on!

Re: NGD CAME EARLY!

The Seymourized bridge is pretty righteous. I have it in my set neck 'Bird with the Vintage neck - perfect sounding

Plays like a dream... I had to get the frets leveled on the FB before it played this good. It has a chunkier neck but TBH neck profile isn't a big sticking point for me; I've never found one that I couldn't get comfortable with.

I discussed sound upthread but quick recap: in humbucking mode it sounds like a Firebird. The pickups are maybe a tad darker and growlier than classic FB pickups (or the Duncan Antiquities in my actual FB), but it's not a huge difference. And they split better than any humbucker I've encountered ever... split these sound frighteningly strat-like.

I don't like the Seymourized. To my ears it sounds a lot like a regular full-sized humbucker: too much in the middle and not enough on top. What you have to understand here is I HATE the stereotypical Les Paul/SG sound. I like bright, clear, articulate pickups.

Re: NGD CAME EARLY!

So they're Korean made? I see! If they're made by WMC I'm pretty sold, that factory makes nothing buy good stuff at a super competitive price point, Korean Fujigen basically!

Re: NGD CAME EARLY!

I don't remember which factory i is but it is the same one that makes the MIK Tokai's

Not all Dillions are MIK though, Some are MIC and there were some that were Vietnam but I think those were all Strats.
