I A) Love Charvels.. B) love and want a purple one (like one of the early pro mod runs had purple with black pickguard..) Id prefer with no P/G, but love the purple just the same..
Arrives in a few days. Have never owned a locking trem guitar so this sort of completes the major guitar food groups for me.

It's here. Brand new axe with aging pedals into a 1973 amp...and everybody's getting along just fine! Even Bean seems to approve.
Sounds great. Like the neck and frets are smooth. Action could come down jeeest a tad. I'm sure there's a youtube vid for adjusting a Floyd. Fine tuners seems a little rough but I imagine they will smooth out with a little use if not a little lube. Coil tap clean tone is serviceable but let's face it, this axe is all about the bridge HB and some frothy grind. So far I'm using the Rat model on the DF7 and doing "The Rover" and some JP. I have not played a lot of electric for some years and am a bit rusty but it will come back.
