NGD: Ditto Looper!

This was an impulse buy yesterday. Who can resist adding the super tiny ditto to their pedalboard? $129 seems like a fair price considering what this thing can do. I have it at the very end of the loop, replacing my Hardwire DL-8 (will be for sale soon!).

Right away I am very happy that this pedal picks up the signal at incredibly low volumes, the same is not true for the Hardwire looper. The button is very sensitive, but not too sensitive, it is easy to get used to. 5 minutes is plenty of looping time if you ask me. Overall, I am very impressed, you are getting exactly what you expect from this pedal if you watch the videos and read the reviews.

FYI- If you want to clear a loop while it is playing you hold down the button. If you want to stop/pause the loop you click it twice. If you decide, after pausing, that you wan the loop to be cleared you hold down the button (thus making the loop audible again for a second) and then it clears. That is a little annoying, but I honestly don't think it is possible to design it any better.

Yeah, I know this pedal board is a mess, I need to get organized :)

Re: NGD: Ditto Looper!

I want one of these. The only thing stopping me is that I also want a flashback x4... And it has a looper too lol. I use a DL-8 as well, and while I like the delays, the looper on it is a pita. I am hoping to sell it and save for a fbx4 and see how it works for me.

I LOVE my Corona Chorus. I use Paul Gilbert's Caramel Apple toneprint in a wet/dry/wet setup and it's shweet!

Thanks for the GAS, dude. I've been wanting one of these, and I'll just have to tell the wife I ordered it. Deal with it, woman.

It is a good time to be into looping now. Digitech just came out with the JamMan Express that is the same size as the ditto but can use a battery.

I have a Flashback X4, and I still want a Ditto just because it looks so easy and fun to use.

After I saw this vid awhile back the looper really caught my eye. That and the fact GG is playing. Great pedal though

i got a ditto a few weeks ago and i really like it, but just saw the jamman express today...double the loop time, stereo ins and outs, and 30 bucks cheaper. really looking forward to checking it out. and seeing what small simple loopers come next!

Small correction - the Jamman Express is actually bigger than the Ditto. It looks to be the size of a Phase 90, but I'm not 100% sure. As of yet, it's physically impossible to fit four jacks, a power jack, AND the circuit of the effect into an enclosure the size of the Ditto.
