Hey everyone,
Now I'm not a guy that gets a new guitar every week or anything but I have been really lucky over the past month!
After selling my beloved Epiphone SG G-400 Pro 1966 reissue, I got some nice cash in the search of a nice Gibson guitar, but I came across this Edwards relic LP. Picked it up for $900 posted (lol hat doesn't even make sense), and my god she sings!!! Absolutely amazing and the relic feature makes it absolutely to die for! It's a bit heavier than I would usually like but she sounds and plays terrifically!
I had some left over cash after this and needed a huge case for a 335 copy I have so I went on the search for a big ass hard case that was wide enough for the 335 body but also long enough to fit in the extra long firebird headstock. After stumbling across one and picking it up for $100, this guy offered me a firebird copy for $200 too and couldn't turn down that offer so I got it too [emoji23]
Both guitars play absolutely amazing, the firebird needs a fair bit of work seeing as it a copy, this might be going as far as getting a whole new bridge piece due to the base of the posts being made of wood or something, but overall they were a great buy!
Cheers,
Kyle.
P.S. The Edwards model is a E-LP 130LTS/RE made in 2007
