It's been more than a month but still talking about this POS plywood?

People have been talking about it since the 1960's. Players who like it and know how to use it and play music that it sounds best on are going to keep talking about it. That's why this forum is here.

I must say, you have one of the most appropriate usernames on the forum.

Do you know what a good sounding good playing guitar is? Guess not.

Let me help you. It plays good and sounds good. Doesn't matter if it is made of tin cans, carbon fiber, oak, fig, recycled sneakers or what.

He's got a good sounding good playing guitar. Don't hate man. Breathe in his love for all things Beatles and music. Exhale your pain.

It has been more than 6 years and you continue to add nothing to the forum but discord.

You mean, other than keeping people updated of my stupid pickup swap as well as my music related art collection down in Florida for strangers to rob? Come on man, you don't wanna go down that road.

Lol...I was mocking the guitar, not the person. I think it's plywood crap nobody but Lennon and Noel Gallagher care about. You need to relax. You didn't design the guitar so no need to get emotional.

You are right how stupid of me to discuss a pickup swap on a pickup forum. Thank you for making my point.

For the record, I’m not aware of Noel Gallagher ever using a Casino, with one exception: I did see photo of him playing Paul Weller’s Casino once. Noel used Sheratons with mini Humbuckers.

Rory Gallagher did own and play a Casino, however. But I guess we all know what an inconsequential hack and poseur he was.

You miss my point. Casino, Sheraton, Alley Kat, all the same to me. Plywood crap.

The forum would like to thank you for your 'know your guitars...' service. Where did you get your degree from, Cracker Jack box?

Haven't you ever heard a joke before? You never learned how to laugh? I feel genuinely sorry for you now.

I like my Casino but I noticed that my Casino didn' t sound very well and it made strange steel noises unplugged.
I order a good quality metric ABR-1 bridge at Philadelphia Luthier Tools and a long version of the trapeze tailpiece to reduce vibrations between the tailpiece and the bridge.
The result is incredible, awesome, no more bad vibrations. With the long trapeze tailpiece the feeling is better, The guitar seems more consistent, more precise much more enjoyable to play!

I spent about a 1/2hr with one today that I really liked, sounded great, played really well too. I couldn't buy it though, the upper fret access was just a deal breaker unfortunately. Maybe down the road I'll reconsider, it certainly had the sound, knew that going in. I just know that it'll get relegated to the sidelines, drats and double drats, foiled again.

Had the same issue with an Ibanez hollow singlecut I was crazy about, the sound was fantastic but I need to get to that the 19th fret too often

You need a '68-'70 Casino then. The neck joins at a higher fret.

GibSG: That's a beautiful casino you got there. I love when a burst spray follows the shape of the body as opposed to the "tear drop" spray pattern.

I haven't had any bad vibrations from mine, but if it occurs, now I have a solution.
