There is a chance of a NGD coming up. One if these became available in the Heritage/Cherry Burst finish. I pulled the trigger. Might be Friday. maybe Monday.

Have had the RY in there since just about right away. Maybe after the first day...you know, let the guitar settle in to a good set up and give it a solid inspection to make sure it's all good before making any mods.

The RY is a great pickup. I like it in everything I've out it in so far....I say the same thing for the JB.

there was one available in Heritage Cherry Burst, so I grabbed that one as well.

it arrived today.

I haven't cracked open the cavity to check the pot values, but these pickups have a more life to them. I'll have more time to check them for labels next week. curious to see if they are the Alnico Classic set that the Gibson site says they are or the ProBucker set that Gibson cust serv says they are.

I've seen Epis come with the wrong pickups all the time. I once saw a hot LP bridge pup stuck in the neck of a Dot from the factory.
I owned a Prophecy SG for a few weeks with the EMGs and I think they put the wrong ones in each position because when I played an identical sg with the right EMGs (they'd been checked by the owner) it sounded like a whole different world. I didn't feel like screwing around with my SG so I returned it. I have 50/50 faith in Epis.
