NGD--finally got a nice acoustic

Martin HD28. Couldn't be happier. Got it for a nice deal after xmas at my local shop. Came down to this and a D28 with a performance neck. The HD28 with the scalloped bracing just sounded so much like an acoustic cannon I couldn't stay away. Everything you do on this sounds good. It's just plain awesome how much each note stands out, chords just have so much more flavor to them and picked notes jump out at you like crazy. Here she is next to my new bird.

I'm done with buying guitars for a while. Phew, this bad boy was not cheap but totally worth it. For sure a lifer. I'm a happy man.

Excellent. Just remember to treat her right in regards to humidity changes. 'Tis the season for humidifiers...at least in the northern parts of the country.

Agreed! When I bought my Larrivee I played every acoustic in the shop. I even had intentions of not getting one with electronics but of the guitars I could afford (there were some higher end Martins, Taylors, and Bourgeois that I played but couldn't have afforded if I wanted to) the Larrivee I picked out was the best of the couple of dozen I tried. No cutaway, electronics (but I rarely use them)...it was the one that spoke to me.
