NGD! It's a single-cut Jim, but not quite as we know it...

Re: NGD! It's a single-cut Jim, but not quite as we know it...

Didn't you used to work for Patrice? The black Indus with the blue around the pickguard has haunted me for years.

Exactly, the blue "ring" around the pickguard plus the textured black finish is a pretty wicked look!

Re: NGD! It's a single-cut Jim, but not quite as we know it...

I love Vigier guitars, I've played several of them at trade shows and have met Patrice a few times. He's so passionate about his product.

The neck is just genius. No need for truss road adjustments, EVER! I think it has an impact on the playability too. The action on the Vigier guitars I have played has been flawless all over the fingerboard, every fret.

I like some of the other features too... their ball-bearing tremolos are really great. Their Surfreter is also really cool although I can't play **** on it. haha.

I've been wanting an Excalibur Custom for a while.

I dig that better than most LPs I've ever seen. Once you are freed from 'tradition', things get interesting to me. You can actually get away with building a better mousetrap.

Re: NGD! It's a single-cut Jim, but not quite as we know it...

i always referred to it that way as well

Ah really? I always used to see position 1 at the neck for some reason!

Well I guess it's about time to correct you guys (sorry for the long entry, I copied and pasted large sections of the descriptions so you wouldn't think that I was just making it up:
