It's a 2004, beautiful. Got a great deal from my student. Awesome neck, great pickups, just fantastic!

Yes, looks like upgraded pups. Classics come with uncovered 500t/496r.

they're actually the original pickups with nickel covers added. i'm not sure if the store that he had them fitted at potted them though......

Classics are really underrated, mostly due to the macho "thin necks suck" attitude, which I don't understand at all, having LPs with both '50s and '60s necks.

I think he meant underrated...?

In any case... Sick guitar! I dig the covers and the smoothness they bring. Get ready for some fun squeal if they aren't potted...:D
