You know that the Epiphone factory is actually completely owned by Gibson itself, right?

I agree, but once again, Gibson is the one that ruined their own reputation. But selling subpar guitars, doesn't help the situation either.

Counterfeit guitars help the guitar industry. They force the manufacturers to raise their quality standards to justify the additional costs. The better the copies get, the better the originals will get. We need more counterfeit guitars on the market to push companies like Fender and Gibson to put the best guitar on the streets they can possibly deliver.
