NGD: Gibson V!

Scored this on craigslist. 2006 Gibson V, I believe it used to be a faded... But, previous owner tricked her out.

Bone nut, tone pros tune o matic, grover tuners, strap locks, he put in a duncan jb and 59, splitable, and he had it painted white and slapped the black pick guard.

First thing I did was swap the JB for the JWP Godwood I had, and then slapped on some EB cobalt 11's and tuned her to D standard.

LOVE IT! Great companion to my explorer and SG. This one is 'crispier' and perfect for faster tighter chugging. Explorer is my sludge hammer, this will be my finishing hammer .

I didn't think I'd like the black pick-guard contrast as much as I do on that guitar. Gives me sort of a Michael Schenker vibe.

Sorry! I totally mixed you up with Agileguy and his new purchase of the Egnater SW45. I've heard those seminar heads are pretty awesome though. I'm still waiting for Bruce to hold a class out here in CA.

His is pretty similar, biggest difference is his has two inputs, and mine has 3 And a footswitch jack for a gain cut... Never use it lol.

I kind of like how they cut the headstock to look more like a '70s shape! It looks a bit too short, but maybe it's just the angle of the picture? Either way, it's cool, and HAPPY NEW GUITAR DAY!

The whole rig looks cool as hell.

I've been playing my JCM 800 a lot with my Gibsons, and have to say that my favorite OD/boost that works the best with that rig is my silver Barber LTD.

Speed2dirt: I'll try to get a review up of the amp tonight, but that may prove difficult as I am hopefully making a trade after work for a piece of gear that I've wanted for longer than I could play guitar.
