I must say that since the Traditional V has a smaller body than the 67 V, that FRX looks really weird.

That's pretty. I wouldn't monkey with that... Dirty Fingers are actually really good pickups and switching from an awesome Floyd back to a stop tailpiece/TOM setup is like having a harley and switching back to a moped.

yep... But, I assumed the V Id get would have a diff set in it.. Like the faded I had.. These DFs are pretty awesome. still havent shared with my neighbors yet...(cranked thru the Splawn) We'll see how they fare with my main amp.. But so far..... killer diller

Thanks for the well wishes all! Visually, the trem isnt my favorite.. But it works pretty cool.. And, is removable. I just need to figure how to lower the action a bit..

I would imagine it is hard to design a trem that is removable with no trace. It isn't that bad to me.

In a strange way I actually quite like the look of the Floyd! As imposing as it is I think it is bizarrely cool. How good is it functionality wise?

I'd keep the bridge/trem/tailpiece. I agree, its not real pretty, but it is different, and that makes it sort of cool in a Rene Zellweiger sort of way.

Im bumping this thread for right now as this guitar is going up for sale and with the change to photobucket and all, I dont have time to do a new sale thread right now. Also, I couldnt figure out how to change the subject (thread topic) name.. Can you??

Anyhow, guitar is 2017, in practically new condition, dirty fingers pups, Floyd FRX trem. No fretwear and Im pretty sure it is nearly flawless. Ill stop by and check it out after my DR appt today and confirm. Im asking $1000 shipped. IF buyer from another country or if shipping far exceeds $100, I may ask buyer to help with shipping. But if its, 100-120, Its included in price. sound fair? Im not working, so cant afford to loose my shirt... Thanks!!
