I don't play a lot of jazz, but when I do it's chord melody stuff. I have a mutant L-5 I got 30 years ago (someone put a Johnny Smith pu assembly on it) which sounds great, but I want to put it back to its original form and replace it with another hollow body.

Being from Battle Creek I remember the old Gibson factory so was considering a Heritage.

Your thoughts??

I definately would check out a Heritage 535 or 555...great well rounded instrument...it will do it ALL!!!
