Thanks all. I shouldn't have to do much with this one. All the reviews, however, complain about the bridge, but I'll see when it gets here. I've got a new Hipshot laying around here somewhere if need be.

Having just said that, I've already got two other guitars with HB-102's installed. And, I've got a set, (never used), of P-Rails sitting here. Hmmm . . . :scratchch

Put the P Rails in. They'll drop right into that pickguard and open up a lot of possibilities, which fits the vibe of the guitar well.

The same sort of bridge has featured on Danelectros - better than the non compensated ones with a rosewood saddle but still kind of blah, from what I've read. Wonder why they didn't just go with a hardtail Strat type. Regardless, seems like a lot of axe for the $$.

She arrived today. I'm lovin' this thing. The red is more like the red you'd see on a plate in a Mexican restaurant, (which I love.) The pickups sound excellent. I'm not sure I'm going to mess with this thing at all. It might become my first "stock" axe. Oh yeah, and the tone controls are detented. Strange, but cool.
