NGD: Jackson Content

I've been lusting after a Jackson PC1 for years. Over the past couple of years, I've kinda sold off all my floyd rose equipped guitars, and really wanted to get another one. So I figured that the time was right to check out the PC1. I was a bit nervous about the neck- as I've heard that they are huge... However, I don't find it to be that much bigger than my US strat. It actually feels great, and is super comfortable to play on. Through my EVH 5153, this thing just screams.

I like those a lot and would likely own one if i didn't already have these USA Washburn MG's that Grover did.

A buddy of mine has one of those. It's an incredible guitar. Crazy comfortable to play. The sustainer is fun too. That's a great snag. Congrats.

NGD: Jackson Content

Grabbed one of those almost 2 years ago. Great guitars. While the neck does seem like it'd be huge, it's more comfortable than you'd think. Nice feel to the guitar overall. The sustainer can be fun, but I leave the batteries out unless I know I'm going to be playing it a lot. Jackson did a really good job with the PC-1 series.

Thats a great guitar..a close friend has one. I've got a 86 JacksonCharvel HSS model 3 Frankinstrat type..still a fast.straight guitar after 25 years. FTI.

Cant see the pix here at work, but congrats!! Im sure it kills!! Ive always LOVED the looks and features (esp the chlorine blue) of these guits but always feared the neck would be too thick. Wish I could lay hands on one to try it..

Not a big fan of Charvel USA-style superlight maple - far prefer the yellow blonde Charvel Japan maple look - but it looks kinda cool... specs? New, second hand, or custom-built?

2010 Model. Mahogany back with a thick maple cap. Maple neck and board. OFR. DiMarzio Super 3 and HS-2. Jackson Sustainer in the neck. The Super 3 will be coming out soon for a Suhr SSH+. I'm not a fan of the cocked wah tone that the Super 3 has. Other than the bridge poickup, I love everything about this guitar. Got a good deal on it and decided to jump on it.

Beautiful! I had one in trans black awhile back. Didn't dig the Super 3 either, it got chucked out in favour of a D-Sonic. Unfortunately I quickly lost interest in the Sustainer, haha, and eventually I sold it off. Really like the neck profile on these though - one of the few profiles I dig as much as those on Wolfgangs.
