one man's wangcaster is another man's 77 tele custom? That's how the old saying goes right?
Pretty stoked on this one as it's just super fun to play without doing a thing to it. Bought it from a local guy off craigslist who was passing along some of his father's guitars. I haven't really delved into the "vintage" world mostly because prices usually are off the charts but this was very much within reason IMO.
An unexpected bonus here was that I got to hear a bit about the history of the instrument and it was clear that it was well cared for, loved and played by the previous owner. That really added to the intrinsic value in my mind and I am excited to be the next steward of this one until I let my kids have it one day (when I croak......until then stay away kids!).
Anyone else have one of these? I know they are of a weird era with funky features that are not for everyone but that's what I like about it.
