NGD - PRS SE CUSTOM 24 Floyd Rose

Got this at the end of last week. Plays great. My first guitar with a Floyd Rose, so it's different, but I like it so far. I put a treble bleed kit on today and I'm going to try out the stock pickups, but I have a set of Custom 5 trembucker/Jazz pickups ready to put in if I don't like the stock ones.

I'd have to swap the knobs out, but that's definitely my kind of PRS.

I'd go with some black speed-knobs w/numbers,,,,,,,,just for the looks only.

Wow, that's a nice looking guitar for sure!! That flamed maple top is beautiful and I really dig the color too! Being a shredstick with Floyd addict I really like the fact that this one has a double locking trem! I'd say:"Have fun with it T-Bone!" but I am sure you will!! :fing2:

Really liking this guitar so far. The action is really good and so far the tones from the stock pickups are pretty good. I still may end up changing them out, but before I try to deal with completely setting up a FR from the start I want to give these a go.

Really sweet looking guitar, really love that top! I personally would leave the knobs as is...but 'tis not my axe ;) Enjoy!

I like the knobs as the color works well with the finish on the guitar, so I'll leave them.

Well I've decided that I'm probably going to change out the pickups in this guitar. I'm putting a Jazz in the neck, but have two options for the bridge...a Custom 5 and a Perpetual Burn. Any thoughts as to which might be better? I'm not a shredder, but like to play some rock and blues. I have the Custom 5 in a couple of other guitars and like it a lot, but have never tried a Perpetual Burn before.

I decided I'm going to put the Custom 5 in the bridge on this guitar and use the Perpetual Burn in another guitar. The Custom 5 is just an absolute beast of a pickup for the tone I like.
