Whoah..no idea's? I thought we were all men of science and mandatory musicaly theoretic stuff???

Well, the good news is for some weird reason (and even as a bonafide man of science + follower of Gandhi I have no ****in' reason why) this happens in the mornings & evenings only (?) It's actually worst at night which kinda sucks 'cuz that's when I record//play stuff usually.

So there is a workaround....11:00 am to about 5:00 pm it's usually fine (again, no idea why..especially since it happens both on and offline)..anyway, definitely a strange (and way ****in irritating) scientific phenomenon that must be studied in detail :bigthumb:

....Back from a session of intense study of the circle of 5th's (using a pipette, bunch of cool graphs/diagrams & other scientific paraphernalia ).

But sadly, after a thorough analysis I concluded that the circle of fifths was'nt my thing ..it pretty much sucked for my purposes (ie. actual guitar playing). So I discarded it in favour of just plain old fifths (minus the circle) which I am pleased to announce I was able to incorporate successfully & practically in my jam.

I also incorporated a little Circle of the Tyrants inspired whammy wiggling (which quite frankly, was a hella lot more fun) ..but eh far from it that I should pass judgement

..so if this is your idea of having fun ..knock yourself out :bigthumb:

Popping it here in the interest of science (and thirst for knowledge)

I did however, like I said, throw in a bunch of fifths...whether or not you're good with that..who knows? One can only do one's musically theoretic best. :bigthumb:

Leaving science aside for a moment (and the circle of fifths/musically theoretic stuff as always :lmao ...I thought it was time to explore my sensitive side by playing slowly emotionally & dreamily. Sadly, while I almost lasted right through to the very end ..it was'nt to be and I was compelled to break the warp barrier for a little bit at the finish there :bigthumb:

Yes, velocity isn't everything but it sure as hell beats just plonking along boringly all day long. If I was'nt such a follower of Gandhi I'd probably have switched gears much sooner, but eh, he's the man & at the end of the day we do have a lot in common (except for fashion sense) :yesway:

Looking back I feel maybe I was too impulsive & prejudiced & I didn't give the whole musically theoretic thing a fair chance after all. The Circle of fifths certainly is vast and impressive, perhaps it actually has some practical use after all? Maybe after plugging my ears with a decent pair of earplugs I should try and play sticking to the musically theoretic principles & the musically theoretic principles alone (no ears whatsoever) depending on nothing else but sheer guitar science instead. So that's what I did using just the theoretic principles from the theoretic books in front of me which guided my every note.

After utilizing theoretic techniques like multiple exotic scales, atonal bends, sweep picking, string hopping, indefinite sustain, circle of 5th's, multi-finger tapping, pivoting, legato, trills, ascending & descending stuff, no blues scale etc (ie. almost every technique musically known to mankind) I was able to create this masterpiece. My mum actually prefers it to the earlier version as it's more 'pleasant & soothing' ..or so she says (yes, she is tone deaf & has struggled with it since birth ..pls pray for her swift recovery). However my faithful old mutt, Gollum howled & cringed as I played it back for him. Eh, to each their own, you be the judge. I am just a vessel (for science) :bigthumb:

Side note: After detailed research I found that sprigs of broccoli (with the stems trimmed/shaped) will, in a pinch, work well as earplug substitutes :bigthumb:

And after all the theoretically pincipled stuff and high falutin' musically conceptual things, I thought it's time I went back to basics. No point in letting that last video go to my head. Alfred Schopenhaur famously said about modesty (that most admirable of virtues) "With people of limited ability modesty is merely honesty. But with those who possess great talent it is hypocrisy"

....& then the same living legend (RIP) wrote the following immortal words “No doubt, when modesty was made a virtue, it was a very advantageous thing for the fools; for everybody is expected to speak of himself as if he were one.”.

However, immortal quotes such as these I must confess, go against Gandhi's principles of humility, simplicity & nudity. I must humbly disagree with them, pray and contemplate our ongoing existence.

Also, I must play the humble blues scale for some considerable duration to quell my virtuoistic pride after displaying my mastery over a bunch of musically theoretic applied theories taken straight from the musical books open before me in my last deeply theoretical video full of the essential musical theories such as the circle of 5th's :bigthumb:

And more humble use of the blues scale with my Cort X11QM (bridge split/4th notch)...'cuz 17 mins ^ ^ of jamming the blues just is'nt enough :bigthumb:

Also I lost touch of my humility and broke into velocitic tapping and warp-barrier breaking shred for a bit there ^ ^ at the end which won't do according to the Gandhian principles to which I adhere :bigthumb:

17 of the books were indeed open before me as I played to provide the nessesary guidance (the rest of the 22 I gently opened as & when I came to them) ...3 turned out to be cookbooks so I did'nt open them at all (until later)...

Just some sweet melodic shred (no blues or tapping) as I desired to take the middle path. So thus we experience the convergence of science & spirituality as first proposed by Mahatma Gandhi & later seconded by Mother Theresa (who apparently wished to chastise me severely for committing "the unspeakable" sin of onanism in my earlier video...bur eh, what's done is done & cannot be undone)

Those more theoretically minded among us will be pleased to note I made use of various exotic scales (Outer Mongolian, Timbuktuian etc..) & some also some velocitic tapping. Unfortunately due to a scientific miscalculation (it happens) I screwed up the video angle a bit & you can only see my fingers high on the neck (fortunately they are there pretty often) ...but eh, life goes on.

Time to take the next step of scientific discovery.

Here we use the vernier scale (not a theoretically musical scale) & various types of calipers to determine whether the purple Kramer Baretta special (with black pot metal hardware causing finger nimbleness) can be successfully incorporated into the blues scale using scientifically theoretical techniques.

The finding: Yes it can be by using pinch harmonics as the counter-balance, provided the Laboga amp Is on Channel 1 (lo gain/crunch setting) & the $20 mic is dangling optimally.

Under the abovementioned conditions I was ultimately successful in incorporating the blues scale into this purple shred axe thus closing the 22 musically theoretic books open before me as they were rendered totally null & void by the unskilled use of the non-virtuoistic blues scale which is scorned by all true virtuoso's :bigthumb:

Now that we know how essential & mandatory the musically theoretics from the open books before us are for ALL players without exception.(see above ) we can proceed with the scientific proceedures so that with "round 2" of scientific & theoretic comparisons we can tell the true difference.
